The Harvest is Now
“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest.” John 4:35
Recently, during a time of worship, I began to hear the Lord speak regarding harvest. We are drawing near to the end of 2010, and are at the beginning of winter. Winter is typically experienced/viewed as a season of frozen, hard ground. A time of barrenness and dormancy. A time when nothing is growing; in fact, a time when so much looks dead, buried under ice and snow. Certainly, it is not a season in which we typically think of harvest. And, yet, that is exactly what I am hearing the Lord speak.
God said, “Lift up your eyes…” He said to me, “You are about to see breakthrough unlike any other before.” It is time for renewed vision of the times and seasons.
This year has been one with more than its share of upheavals, shifts, and struggles. Yet, in the midst of them all there have been many victories. We have seen God moving in powerful ways. There is a renewed sense of expectancy in the hearts of many, a longing for MORE. This longing is a fire burning deep inside as the Church is being positioned for new BREAKTHROUGH. Many are being raised up, even now, to move into places of spiritual authority beyond what they’ve experienced before. There is a moving within the ‘five-fold’ ministry that is bringing a fresh renewal and awakening to the Body of Christ. This movement is an ALIGNMENT in the Spirit for the purpose of RAPID KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT.
God spoke to me about BREAKTHROUGH ANOINTING and BREAKTHROUGH PROVISION. The coming year will see rapid expansion as God pours out His Glory. Abundant provision and fresh anointing are being released for the singular purpose of Kingdom expansion, and the Manifestation of the Presence of Christ with true Authority and Power.
The point is this: We do not have to wait for these things to happen some day, off in the future. For, the time of great harvest is now. This is what I hear the Lord say.
“You say, ‘This is the time of winter. Nothing grows now.’ You look at your field, your land, your earth; and, you say, ‘It is hard and barren, frozen and without fruit.'”
“You look back and see only the struggles, the storms, the trials; and, now see only a frozen field. You look at this and believe your harvest was lost to the cold; that what could have been has been snatched away by the harshness of winter.”
“I say to you–LOOK AGAIN.” You must have eyes to see. Why did I say to My disciples, ‘Lift up your eyes and look at the fields.’? They were like you, looking only at the natural, the earthly realm and not SEEING what I see.”
The Lord says, “You must see with new eyes; your vision must be quickened, sharpened, RE-FOCUSED. Lift UP your eyes and BEHOLD. For, what you now see in the natural is not what is real.”
“Did I not say, ‘Look at the fields, for they are ALREADY white for harvest’? What does that mean except that the time of fruitfulness, of abundance, of provision, of harvest is NOW?
“I AM igniting a fresh fire within you. A renewed expectancy in the midst of the harsh winter. There is a burning inside which will not be denied. Your hope will not be deferred, your longing will not be delayed; but, fulfilled. And, you will be a Tree of Life bearing abundant fruit in a dry and barren land.”
“Beloved, NOW is your harvest! The abundant provision of God. And, what better time than now? What better season than this? CONSIDER: My ways are not your ways. CONSIDER: My Kingdom operates in complete opposite of the natural realm of man. CONSIDER MY WAYS–not yours. Open your eyes and look. For, MY ABILITY will be YOUR SUFFICIENCY.”
The Lord says, ” I AM able–to cause a living, mighty army to rise up in a valley of dry bones, a place of dust and death.”
“I AM able–to cause Springs of Living Water to pour forth in the Valley of Baca, turning a wasteland into a fruitful plain.”
“I AM able–to part the Sea and save a nation from certain destruction.”
“I AM able–to feed a multitude, in a land of poverty and hunger, with more than enough bread-more than enough!
“I AM able–to cause My sons to dance in the flames of destruction and cause a king to bow in fear.”
“I AM able–to turn the waters of adversity into the New Wine of JOY; and, My Bride shall DANCE and SING with praise!
“Lift your eyes, Beloved. You have lost nothing to the hard, cold ground of the past. I AM, even now, RELEASING YOUR HARVEST. Even now, the fruit is springing forth; My Way is the WAY OF MIRACLE.
“You shall TASTE AND SEE; and, you shall REJOICE before Me. For, I AM turning what was ashes into beauty. I AM pouring out the oil of joy for your mourning. I AM placing upon you the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. And, I AM releasing into your hands HARVEST in the winter season. That you will be Trees of Life, Trees of Righteousness; the planting of the Lord. And, you WILL glorify Me before all nations.”
“Lift your eyes and BEHOLD–the Harvest in NOW!”
