The Adventure of Faith is a Journey of Transformation

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good and pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)

The adventure of faith is a journey of transformation. It’s a journey along paths ever higher upon the Mountains of Worship. A journey deeper into realms filled with mysteries and hidden treasures. It leads us from glory to glory, bringing us through the process of transformation into transfiguration as we become the fullness of the image of Christ.

It’s a journey that requires everything of us.

We must choose to let go of the old and embrace the new. The old ways of thinking, believing, speaking, and living must change. Old patterns that governed our lives in the past must be put off. They will not work for us in the coming days. They will only weigh us down and wear us out.

We are about to begin a whole new phase in the adventure of faith. The Lord is inviting us to go higher into the Mountains of Worship, to ascend to the High Places of Praise.

He is setting before us fresh provisions.  New garments and footwear suitable for higher elevations, new tools to help us navigate uncharted territories, fresh food and drink to energize and strengthen us on the way. These must replace the old things completely. Nothing of the past can remain.

The real issue is our response. We can choose to stay where we are. Or, we can accept the Lord’s invitation and set our hearts on the adventure before us.

“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.” (Psalm 84:5)

I hear the Lord saying: “My Dove, in the clefts of the rock, hidden away in the Secret Place, arise from your resting place! For a time you were hidden. For a time you were at rest. But, now I am calling you to rise up and come away with Me.”

“Listen to the flutter of the wings of your heart, My Dove! I am rejoicing over you with singing, do you not hear? The time of singing has come! O My love, abandon your resting place and join Me on the Mountains of Glory.”

Spirit of God, we yield to You!

Strip away all that would keep us entangled with the world below, all that weighs us down with the old patterns of the flesh.

Clothe us in garments of Praise! 

Fill us with New Wine and Manna from Heaven to sustain us and energize us!

Open our eyes to see the new pathways.

Sharpen our senses so that we will be increasingly aware of our new surroundings—the Glory Realm!

Fill us with Glorious Expectations and Wondrous Excitement as we discover new treasures, and experience new glories on the Mountains of Worship!

 I declare this will be the day in which you will experience a quickening of your heart in response to the Love Song of the Lord. A stirring of desire to rise up and move into new adventures in God.

The Lord is placing before you fresh provision, and you will find that what you’ve held onto for security and comfort you no longer need or want. The abundance of the Lord is being given for this new day, and you will live from the place of  ‘More than Enough’.

There’s also a renewal of strength and energy, an excitement beyond what you’ve experienced before. Doors are opening, and paths are being revealed that will take you to new heights in worship and praise.

This new phase in the adventure of faith, this journey of transformation is an accelerating work of God as we ascend to the High Places of Praise to release His Glory upon the earth.
