Fear Not for I AM with You
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John14:27)
It is almost Christmas, and all around are the songs speaking of “Peace on Earth”. PEACE! Ah, how we so much want peace-in our own lives, our families, our communities, our states, our nation; yes, even in our world.
But, we have a problem, I think. We have adopted a philosophy, a mind-set, that believes that ‘government’ in all its forms (political, religious, cultural, financial, judicial, etc.) can legislate peace. That all we have to do is make a law, declare it so, and ‘presto’-there it is.
And, when all this legislating fails, when the system only serves to heighten the conflict and fear, we feel either the enemy is too strong and is winning the battle, or that God has forgotten us–or both.
We have forgotten that peace comes only one WAY. By the power and glory of the PRINCE OF PEACE. We have forgotten the “government will be on his shoulders” and “Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.” (Isaiah 9:6b, 7a)
Now, I am speaking primarily to those who are the Church. Of all people, we should know this; but, how many of us are experiencing unrest? Fear? Doubt and despair? Perhaps, we need to come back to the very heart of Christmas; to the very heart of God.
I am hearing Papa saying to us, “Fear not, Dread not…for all fear and dread is falling upon your enemies. All the plans of the enemy are turned upon him, all the attacks he seeks to launch against you will be turned back upon him.”
“There is great confusion in the camp of the enemy which is causing a GREAT STILLNESS..For My GREATNESS is revealed before him, and great horror has frozen the very breath of death within him. All the railings, the spewing forth of venom is ceasing…For I AM moving on behalf of My People. It is MY RIGHT ARM at work in these days….deliverance, deliverance, deliverance!!”
“You are climbing MY HOLY MOUNTAIN.” says the Lord, “And, yes, the path is narrow. You are ‘passing over’, climbing the path that is narrow. But, know this, My children–this narrowness of path is because I AM HEMMING YOU IN..I have placed My hedge around you, I have raised walls of protection around you.”
“As I caused the mighty sea to stand up to the right and to the left of My people, that they would walk a narrow path through the mighty sea on dry land..and the very walls of water on the right and the left formed walls of protection..so it is even now.” says the Lord, “MY ARM IS AT WORK, and by the POWER of MY MIGHTY RIGHT ARM you will not fail.”
“Therefore, My children, walk on without fear. Climb My HOLY MOUNTAIN with confidence, with faith. For I have PLANTED YOU in the mountain of MY INHERITANCE. I have ESTABLISHED YOU..set you in place by My Word. And as My Word will not be shaken, as My Word will not fail-so, too, will you not be shaken, nor will you fail.”
“As My Word will go forth with power–so, too, will you go forth in power. For I have ESTABLISHED YOU…By My Blood, I have purchased you. By My Blood, I have brought you into existence and put you into a favorable position.”
The Lord says, “Hear well, My Word–you are NOT slaves, for I have purchased you. Therefore, do not live like slaves. Do not entertain even the slightest thought of slavery; for all slavery is bondage and poverty.”
“You are SONS, you are FREE. And, as sons you have an inheritance which is secure, abundant, and available to you at your asking. By My Word and the power of My Mighty Right Hand it is secure. By My Love, My Extravagant Love, it is abundant and freely given.”
“Therefore, hear My Word–all voices of ‘lack’, of poverty, of failure, of dread–ARE SILENCED! Hear My Word–your enemy is before you as still as a stone. You will laugh in the face of your enemy and he will remain frozen in silence as a stone.”
I hear Papa say to us: “Beloved, I have established My SANCTUARY. My hands have formed it, My Word upholds it, My Breath fills it as the cloud of My Glory. And you, Beloved, are this Sanctuary. Embrace Me, and you will also embrace My Glory.”
“And in that embrace, My Fullness will come upon you in increasing measure–glory to glory. And you will walk in the authority and power of My Word. You will speak, and My very Breath will issue forth from your mouth causing the very atmosphere around you to change-yes–signs, wonders, miracles are springing forth by the power of My Breath..My Voice.”
“Beloved,” says the Lord, “this is what is causing the enemy to be silenced. This is the destruction within his camp. Therefore, I say to you again: FEAR NOT, for I have not given you that spirit; but, the Spirit of power, love, and sound mind. Therefore, I say to you again: DREAD NOT-DO NOT BE AFRAID, for you are established in My Holy Mountain..and you will not be shaken.” “Climb on, Beloved Ones, climb on with confidence–walk through the narrow place, for greater glory is at hand.”
