Day of Double Portion
“Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.” (Isaiah 61:7)
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated…” (Isaiah 54:2-4a)
Donna and I had a wonderful conversation with a dear friend at church Sunday. A young mother who moves strongly as a Seer, who is seeing a time of “great trial” coming upon the land.
There are many dark clouds swirling in the atmosphere of this nation. It is not only a time of great shaking; but, one of confusion and fear. It has been a time when it seems what we hold so precious and dear is being ‘ripped off’, stolen from us. The sudden passing of Apostle James Berkley is an example.
There is a very real attempt by the enemy to cloud our vision, to make everything around us so murky and unsettled and dark that we lose sight of who we are and, more importantly, who God is and what His purposes and plans are for us.
Yes, I agree with my friend; a time of great trial is coming. It is vital that we “pursue” God in these days. The word from Sunday (“The Great Return”) is a clarion call to seek the Lord with all our hearts. For it is in the deepening place of intimacy with God that the clouds of confusion, doubt, fear are blown away. And, we are brought back into the Light.
It is out of all this that I hear the Lord speaking this morning. It is a long posting here, I know; but, stay with it. For God has real encouragement for us. The Eternal Word of God says “..we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Rom. 8:37)–so, read on.
The Lord says, “Awake, My Beloved! Arise from your slumber. Your enemy has sought to surround you with a shroud of darkness, to immerse you in a deep fog of confusing thoughts, doubts, fears. To cause you to fall into a place of despair, and in that place to get you to believe you have been forsaken, that you have been abandoned with your hopes and dreams crushed.”
“Your enemy has sought to cause a deep depression to fall upon you, to cause you to curl up in a corner in defeat, to cause you to sleep a sleep of the death of hope.”
“AWAKE! My Beloved, this is all a lie. This is all a deception and a lie,” says the Lord. “For, I have not redeemed you by My Blood, called you by My Word, sealed you in My Spirit that you would live like orphan slaves.”
“No, it is a lie to say I have forgotten you. Not for one moment have I turned away, or changed My thoughts, My plans for you. Therefore, My Beloved, RISE UP, throw off your grave clothes, step once again into the light of Day. You are not forsaken, you are not abandoned. Therefore, throw off the garments of mourning and death. They are inappropriate for Children of the King. Cast of the chains of slavery. I removed them from you by the Blood of My Cross. DO NOT allow them to be put once again upon you. RISE UP, there is no shame, no disgrace within you or upon you. No humiliation will cross your borders or enter your gates.”
The Lord says, “You must come back to My Word. You must REALIGN yourselves with My Eternal Word. You must declare, ‘It is written’, often. For My Word does not go forth without purpose. It does not go forth without producing the FRUIT I have planned for you. Therefore, declare MY WORD in these days. Declare it by FAITH, declare it with PRAISE. And, watch what I will do in and through you by My Word.”
“And what does My Word say? What are My plans for you, My Beloved? I have spoken it, and I speak it now–DOUBLE PORTION!!”
The Lord says, “Yes, DOUBLE PORTION is being poured out even now. This is the season of double blessing, of double anointing. The very date, 2010, is of double portion, of multiplication. For, as 10 doubles to 20, so is My Blessing upon you. This is the year of a GREAT ABUNDANT HARVEST. A time of My Favor upon the land as My Kingdom is revealed in power. This is the Day of Apostolic Expansion and Prophetic Fulfillment. RISE UP, BELOVED, and RECEIVE.”
“This is a year of GREAT EXPANSION and FULFILLMENT. It is not a time to hide away; but, to enlarge the place of your tent. I say to you, My Beloved, ENLARGE YOUR PLACE!” Stretch out to the north, south, east, west. EXPAND YOUR SPHERE, EXPAND YOUR BORDERS.”
“Make the place of your tent, the TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD, an expanded place, an enlarged place. For, I AM about to pour out blessing upon blessing. And, you will fill the Temple with the abundance I pour out.” Says the Lord.
“I have had enough of My People being oppressed. I have had enough of the thievery against My Bride. I AM aroused on behalf of My Bride. My Love burns like a fire, a mighty unquenchable fire. My Word is a Mighty Sword and it comes with vengence against the enemy.”
The Lord says, “Watch and see, My Beloved, what will happen this year. For this is a year of MULTIPLICATION. Every penny stolen from you will be repaid hundred-fold what was stolen. Every desire, every dream, snatched from your hearts will be given back and released like a flood, a creative, life-giving flood upon the land. Every part of your body that has suffered through the stealing of your health shall be renewed, and you SHALL rise up on the wings of eagles, you SHALL run and not grow weary-you will not stumble, you will not fall. Every wicked word spoken against you shall be refuted and turned against your enemy like a plague of locusts, of swarming locusts. Every assignment set against you IS CANCELLED, every curse IS BROKEN.”
“And, blessings will pour forth. I will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. No pest will devour your crops, nor will your vines cast their fruit to the ground. The nations will call you blessed. Your land will be a DELIGHTFUL land.” Says the Lord.
“Therefore, My Beloved, do not be afraid. Let your TEMPLE OF PRAISE be enlarged. Stretch out, open wide the gates of PRAISE. For, praise is the death knell of the enemy. It shatters the darkness with MY LIGHT. It tears down the walls of opposition, crushes the enemy beneath your feet.”
“REJOICE, says the Lord, “for great is this Day, the Day of Great Harvest. The Blood of My Cross redeemed you for this purpose. My Eternal Word declares My Covenant Promises given you for this purpose. My Spirit works within you-the Seal of Inheritance guaranteeing it’s fulfillment.”
“My Beloved, YOU ARE MINE, held deep in My Love. I AM moving, I AM aroused in My heart, and My Right Arm is working My Justice on your behalf.”
“AWAKE, My Beloved. ARISE and SHINE. Do not fear, do not be afraid; for, this is the DAY OF DOUBLE PORTION.” Says the Lord.
