Times of Refreshing

Isaiah chapter 30 begins with a warning from God to his people. They had become ‘obstinate’, willfully, deliberately turning from him to go their own way. Judgment, he warns, is on the horizon.

However, God does not leave them without hope. He speaks of a turning and an outpouring of his blessing. Times of refreshing were his promise.

This has real implications for us today; for, as a nation we are not unlike Israel spoken of in this chapter. How do we get from the warning to the promise? How do we move from the place of judgment to the experience of blessing?

We will explore this as we look at Isaiah 30:15. The times of refreshing are before us in this hour.
