Putting God’s Miracles to Music

“Go ahead—and give God thanks for all the glorious things he has done! Go ahead and worship him! Tell everyone about his wonders! Let’s sing his praises! Sing, and put all of his miracles to music! Shine and make your joyful boast in him, you lovers of God. Let’s be happy and keep rejoicing no matter what. Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face! (Psalm 105: 1-4 – The Passion Translation)

What strikes me the most in the verses above is the call to, “Sing, and put all of his miracles to music!”

This got me to thinking about Song – specifically our song. You and I are created in such a way that we are each a unique, individual song.

No one else has your song. It belongs to you because it is the very DNA of your being. The sound of God’s voice is continually creating a specific ‘tone’ or ‘note’ for each particle of energy that makes up your identity.

“The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV)

I love those words! The Lord is continually “rejoicing” over us! The Bliss of Yahweh is the ecstatic song causing every particle of energy to “coalesce” into the song of our being. ‘Coalesce’ means- “To grow together or into one body. To commingle, fuse, cleave, conjoin, merge.” We are made one in Yahweh. I’m emphasizing this because of the way we are created.

It is the combination of these tones, or notes of God’s ecstatic singing that literally forms your song. That’s awesome!

Now, I’m also thinking about Music. Music is the release of song and there is a process that must take place for this to happen.

Typically, a song is created as a musical score, or other form of composition. This in itself not music. It’s just words and notes and notations recorded as a framework for the artist/composer’s creative process. It becomes the music when that which is written is performed. How does this fit with the passage above?

Think of the record of “all the glorious things” God has done written in Scripture and found in the writings of Saints throughout the ages. These are glorious and form a “score” or “composition” to lead us to a place where we begin to sing God’s praises. But, this record is not in itself music. I say this because the whole focus of Psalm 105: 1-4 is on worship. And, what better way to worship than to give God thanks for all the glorious things he has done, to make our “joyful boast in him”,  and to “tell everyone about his wonders”. We take the written record of God’s works and wonders, the “score or composition”, and we release it in praise. That which was written now becomes music. We “sing his praises!”

Here is where I see us moving to a whole new level in praise. It goes back to the words: “Sing, and put all of his miracles to music!”  There is a pattern Holy Spirit is showing me:

First, we begin to find our Song in an ever deepening relationship with God. Here we meditate on all the glorious things he has done. We ponder his wonders and seek more of Him and His strength. But, most of all we are always and foremost seeking the light of his face.

What happens in this is that we ‘expand’ our bandwidth of frequencies. There’s an ascension, a raising of the frequencies of Light within as we are immersed in JHVH!!

The Mirror translation puts it this way:

“See yourselves co-raised with Christ! Now ponder with persuasion the consequence of your co-inclusion in him. Relocate yourselves mentally! Engage your thoughts with throne room realities where you are co-seated with Christ in the executive authority of God’s right hand…Becoming affectionately acquainted with throne room thoughts will keep you from being distracted again by the earthly (soul-ruled) realm. (Colossians 3:1-2)

Out of our deepening intimacy with God we then begin to express worship that is filled with joyful boasting IN him. This is what Holy Spirit has described to me as, Joyful Sound. It’s nurtured in the Secret Place and comes forth as Light—the more we seek the light of his face, the more light then begins to shine in us. Our Song is now beginning to resonate in us and radiate through us. And, we begin the next stage in praise.

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light..” (Ephesians 5:8)

Out of the Secret Place of intimacy with God we begin to ascend the Mountains of Worship. Holy Spirit takes us higher until we reach what He showed me as ‘Pinnacles of Miracle Praise’. Pinnacle is defined as: “the highest point of development or achievement”. God showed me these High Places in the Spirit where our worship is released carrying the substance of glory. This is “High Praise” where we release our Song over all creation. This is where we “put all of his miracles to music.”

You are a Song. A unique Song unlike any other. Your Song is written into your DNA and becomes music when you worship from the place of God’s Presence. The more in alignment, agreement, harmony with God, the more your song and His Song become one..one NEW SONG. It is this New Song that is released upon the Pinnacles of Miracle Praise, releasing signs, wonders and miracles upon the earth. This is our calling.

It’s time to awaken to your Song!

“O Lord, tell me the story of my glorious destiny unfolding in the Light of Eternal Love. Speak to me of my life written before the foundation of the world when You composed my Song and wrote down the score of the music of my life in my DNA, and crafted the glory of my unfolding journey in the atmosphere Divine Love and the Splendor of Your Joyful Singing! Help me to learn and sing my Song for You, my King!”

The days of ascension are here. It is time for us to ascend to the Pinnacles of Miracle Praise and, “Sing, and put all of his miracles to music!”

“For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come….Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!”
