Days of Revelation and Wisdom
“Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High…Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our king, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.” (Psalm 47:1-2, 6-9)
One of the cultural characteristics of American society is that we focus on little details and not the larger picture. We are driven by ’30 second’ soundbites, quick catchy headlines, ‘tweets’, etc. It is like we feel if we have the quick details in a movie trailer then we have a clear understanding of the whole film. Or, if we have the headline we know the whole story.
I think this is true when it comes to the major spheres of influence in our nation; the political, educational, religious, financial, social areas of life. We grab hold of the headline concerning an issue and believe we know the reality. Then, something happens to shatter that illusion, and we become confused and fear-filled.
I am reminded of the disciples in their boat heading across the lake with Jesus asleep in the back of the boat. A powerful storm arose and they were tossed about in fear. When they woke Jesus, he simply rebuked the storm and then rebuked them for the littleness of faith. It is a matter of PERSPECTIVE.
The passage out of Psalm 47 is all about perspective. And, I am hearing the Lord saying, “Wake up, My Children. Open your eyes to what is real. You have allowed the outward circumstances to dictate your reality. You have allowed yourselves to be controlled by small kings, ‘kings of the little things’, kings with no real power at all except the power of manipulation. They seek to cloud your mind and heart with a miriad of details; details that only provide part truth. And, they change those details at will, constantly throwing you off balance.”
“These details provide only enough to keep you hooked. The reality is hidden from you. The small kings seek to hide the reality from you by stirring up clouds of thick darkness around you. Clouds filled with the steady current of ever changing data. All this is to keep you in a place of confusion, doubt, fear. For your enemy, the small kings, know that the truth, the whole truth, will set you free.”
“Therefore, WAKE UP, Children. Open your eyes,” says the Lord. “For, these small kings are not the powers they claim to be. They do not carry the authority they say, nor do they have the rights of ownership over you. I AM KING OF ALL THE EARTH, and YOU ARE MINE.”
The Lord says, “This is the year of GREAT AWAKENING. It is the time of the opening of eyes to see and ears to hear. This is the year in which what has been hidden in the darkness of the storm clouds of confusion will be revealed in the Light of My Glory.”
“For, I AM GOD who REIGNS OVER THE NATIONS. And, I will have no other gods before Me.”
The Lord says, “Watch carefully. For I AM clearing the air, I AM silencing the storms. And, I AM revealing TRUTH. Watch carefully, and see the deliverance of the nation. For, even now I AM revealing the schemes of the little kings. The political kings, religious priests, educational mindbenders, financial power brokers, social idolators are being shown for who they are. Their lies are becoming clear in the Light of My Truth.”
“Arise in Faith, My Children, and see the salvation of God. Lift your voices in praise. SHOUT WITH JOY! Sing praises the the King of all kings. For, I AM exalted above the nations, My Glory FILLS the earth.”
The Lord says, “This is the year of GREAT REVEALING, and also the year of GREAT RELEASING. For, I AM not only revealing the deception of the ‘small kings’; but, I AM revealing MY KINGDOM and MY SONS who carry true authority and power in the land.”
“And, I AM releasing powerful FREEDOM throughout this nation. By signs, wonders, miracles My Glory is being released upon the land. Through My Sons who carry true authority and power, I AM releasing My Kingdom. It is advancing and will not be stopped,” says the Lord.
The Lord says, “The government is upon My shoulders. My Kingdom has no end. I alone am on My HOLY THRONE. And, I have established My Holy Highway upon this land-straight and true. My Redeemed shall walk upon this Holy Way, My Way, and shall not stumble or fall. No unclean or dead thing shall touch My Way or My Redeemed. And, the nations will draw near– THIS NATION shall draw near to ME. They shall call upon ME and be saved.”
“For this is the year of GREAT AWAKENING, GREAT HARVEST.”
“Therefore, My Children, look beyond the darkness. Speak to the storms, ‘Be still’. Let your praises be lifted like the sounding of the trumpet, like the loud trumpet of God. Speak the Truth, the whole truth, My Truth. Grab hold of the great and glorious reality of MY KINGDOM COME, MY WILL BE DONE. For, all is well, all is well, ALL IS WELL,” says the Lord.
