Behold the King

We are in the season of Spring. This is a powerful time when the earth comes alive in a ‘new birth’. With that awakening comes a very real push to get out into the land-to plow, till, plant, and tend to the earth in such a way as to bring forth an abundant, fruitful harvest.

While that is true in the natural realm, it is especially true in the realm of the Spirit. It is the time, the Season, of  ‘New Beginnings’, ‘Fresh Starts’; of re-engaging the ‘earth’ of God’s Kingdom-plowing new ground, sowing new seed, tending and caring for what has been planted as we look forward to a fruitful abundant Harvest to come.

I say this to point us to this powerful Season of God which brings with it Passover. This year, Passover falls in perfect alignment with the Christian celebration of Easter. These, of course, are the culmination of a week of events that began with Jesus’s entrance into Jerusalem.

This is celebrated as the Triumphal Entry, Psalms Sunday. All four Gospels record them as Jesus entering Jerusalem as KING.

The focus of this message is this: For us, you and I, to live rightly in the Kingdom of God, we must understand what it means to live under the RULE AND REIGN of the King. When we do-when we come into alignment with the King and walk this out, we will truly, abundantly, enjoy the BLESS OF THE KING.
