A Matter of Frequencies, part 1

Matter of Frequency part 1

The closer we are to God, the more He reveals himself to us and through us. Underlying our identity and purpose seen in Genesis 1:26-28 is the truth we are to personify, or reflect and manifest the person of God in the earth realm. Genesis 1 says:

“Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it…” (NASB)

We are created in the image of God. But, what is that image? I’ve often heard over the years that the image of God in man is mind, emotions, and will. Certainly we can see throughout Scripture these operating in our relationship to God. But, they are not image. They capture something about how a person acts, but they are not the person. Image is about who we are, not what we do. So, when we talk about the image of God in us, we must move from our ‘doing’ and take hold of our ‘being.’

Before the Fall in Genesis 3, the image of God in man was full and pure. Sin entered and that image was corrupted; however, the original DNA imprint of the image was never touched or erased. Through the blood of the Lamb that image has been restored to its original state so that when a person believes on Christ and becomes a child of God the image of God in them is restored to its pure, uncorrupted state. Because of this, every child of God can truthfully declare, “All God is, I am.”

No, we do not become God. The child does not become the parent. The child, however, does carry the DNA imprint, the genetic code of the parent that creates the image. That’s easy to see in the natural. How common it is to see a child with their parents and note how much they look like their parents. We are seeing image, not behavior. Behavior is learned, image comes through the power of creation in birth. That is true not only in the natural, but even more of the new birth in Christ. This is important because image denotes an inherent oneness, or a true union. With the image of God restored I am not only fully in His image, I am fully IN Him and He in me. There is no separation of any kind. When I use the language of drawing closer to God, I am not speaking of coming from a place away from Him, which is impossible; but, a going deeper into Him. Frankly, we are to live from the place of our image in God which, in truth, is His image all along.

That is precisely our problem because there is a huge  disconnect in the Church between what we believe regarding our relationship to God and our actual experience of that relationship in daily life. We rightly believe that through faith in Christ we are saved,  made a new creation, and that now we are a child of God with eternal life and the indwelling Holy Spirit. Yet, there is very little life changing evidence in everyday living. We really do not believe the absolute truth that we are fully in Christ and He is fully in us. The result is a shallow life of religious ritual as children of men, not empowered children of God. We still labor under the burdens of addiction, disease, fear, and poverty. And, while it’s true that healing, deliverance, and manifestation of God’s Presence are experienced in the church, such experiences are random sporadic events and not the norm of life as they are intended to be.

All that is changing in this time of Awakening for it is not an external series of events, or ‘moves of God’, but the stirring of the hearts of believers to draw near to the Lord. It was King David who wrote: “My heart says of you, “Seek His face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.” (Psalm 27:8). God desires such intimacy. We CAN see Him, touch, taste, and hear Him. This passionate cry of David is not only the cry of the heart of an awakened believer, but the reality of life we are designed to live in power. It is the entering into the Holy of holies to experience the tangible Presence of the Lord. Anyone who has had such an experience will often speak of a sense of resonating in tune with, or harmony and synergy with God. There is a trembling deep within not of fear, but of ecstasy that fills our being. What is this trembling, this ‘resonating with’? It is our joining with the heart of God whereby we begin to vibrate with the very frequencies of His heart. It’s like taking two tuning forks of the same make up and striking one so it vibrates. As you move the second close, it picks up the vibrations of the first and resonates as one with it. This is true of us as well. Think of how a husband and wife (or any other deeply personal relationships, for that matter) begin to ‘vibe’ off each other. Maybe you’ve heard the saying, “We’re on the same wavelength”, maybe said it yourself? Well, it’s the same principle. The closer the relationship, the more the two resonate as one. We are one with God. his life is our life. What we call, ‘Eternal Life’, is just that. So, it make perfect sense to say the closer to God’s heart we are the more ‘in tune’ with Him we are and the more real and tangible our relationship becomes. This is unity, or alignment at its purest form.

Remember Einstein? Remember his revelation that what we perceive as matter is energy vibrating according to frequencies so that we are aware of it? That is what I’m talking about here. The closer we are to God, the more real His Presence is in and through us because we are aligning with the frequencies, or beat, of His heart. It is all a matter of frequencies.

There are infinite frequencies for God is infinite. We are aware of only a tiny number of them here in this life. Imagine what it will be like when we step fully into the Eternal Realm and are opened completely to the fullness of the Sound of Heaven! As I thought of this I was taken back to a vision I had a while ago:

Vision

I was brought into the Throne Room of Heaven. The lights and sounds were beyond anything I’ve seen or heard and far beyond words. there were myriads of worshipers surrounding the Throne as far as I could see. Great thunders, lightnings, and fire filled the vast Temple Throne Room. A glorious smoke-like vapor filled the air like incense and there were huge angelic beings, Seraphim, flying around the Throne upon which the Lord was seated in unapproachable Light. As these beings flew, they slowly rose and fell and turned. And, as they turned to catch another facet of God’s Glory, they cried out like thunder, “Holy!, and burst into flame.

I came out of that vision trembling. Now, you could say I was emotionally overwhelmed by the power of the vision and you would be right. However, there is more to it than that. I was tapping into the frequencies of Heaven that resonated in my total being. And, I was opened to Eternal Kingdom of God in a very tangible, physical way. I tell you, all this is way more than just an experience. It is an example of the very life we are created to live, a life of ever expanding reality of the Eternal Realm.

“And it shall be in the last days,” God says, “That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit and they shall prophesy.” (Acts 2:17-18)

This is what the Awakening in this hour is all about. It is the pouring forth of the Spirit on all mankind, not out of Heaven, but out of the Blood Redeemed who have awakened to their true identity and purpose, who are seeking the face of God passionately, who have entered the Holy of holies to be transformed from glory to glory by the very Presence of the Lord. Who, now resonating with the Sound of Heaven, the very Voice of the Lord, will step forward in the power of agreement forged in that place of alignment in the Fire, the Flame of Yah, releasing like streams of Living Water upon thirsty ground the reality of the God Who is Here.
