The Time of Spring Rain
“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone. The idols speak deceit, diviners see visions that lie; they tell dreams that are false, they give comfort in vain. Therefore the people wander like sheep oppressed for lack of a shepherd.” (Zechariah 10:1-2)
We have entered a new season. Last Saturday was the first day of Spring. A time of the year that typically celebrates the coming to life what has been lying dormant in the ground through the winter months, and to plant new crops. A time to get the seeds into the freshly awakened soil. And, to then trust in the spring rains to come and water that soil. Afterall, without it there can be no harvest. This, then, is what I am hearing the Lord saying:
“You have now entered that time of New Life.This is your Spring, the time of Birthing when you will see springing forth from the soil of your soul that which you planted deep within. The seed of your desires has germinated and is coming forth, coming forth NOW. This is the season in which you shall see the fruit of your labors; for, I AM calling forth a Great Harvest. I AM calling forth the prisoners into My glorious Freedom, I AM calling forth the blind to see My Glory, I AM calling forth the oppressed into My Joy.”
“For too long you have wandered in a barren wasteland, a parched wilderness. For too long the lying voices of deceitful, scheming men have sought to bury your hopes and dreams under layers of muck and mire in the pits of slavery. They have sought to cause the seed of your destiny to rot and die. Through sorcery and witchcraft, by the spirit of Jezebel and Baal, they have sought one thing: to steal, kill, and destroy any hope within you. But, Beloved, that day is at an end,” says the Lord.
“Turn to Me NOW, in this hour. Call upon Me NOW. Ask Me for the Spring Rain of My Deliverance, the Spring Rain of My Salvation, the Spring Rain of My Healing. I AM moving swiftly to accomplish the very purpose for which I gave you life.”
The Lord says, “I have planted you firmly by the Waters of Life. I have made you like a Tree of Life, and out of your innermost being is flowing My River. Now, in this first Spring of the new decade, I AM causing what you have held in your heart to SPRING-FORTH. And, you shall hold the FRUIT of your DESIRES in your hands, and this fruit shall be a continual source of life to the nations.”
“It is the Rain of My Spirit within you and through you that shall accomplish all this. THIS YEAR, THIS SEASON, is the time! You ARE MY well-watered garden, My Beloved. You ARE My Spring of Living Water flowing freely. Your fruit will not wither and die, your well of water shall not run dry. But, you SHALL be Prosperous in the land of poverty, you SHALL be Life in the land of death, you SHALL be Freedom in the land of slavery.”
“Embrace this New Season with Joy. Call upon Me with Joy in your hearts and laughter upon your lips. REJOICE IN ME! For, I AM truly pouring out My Glory Rain. Stop listening to the voices of fear; for, they are being silenced. Stop looking at your outward circumstances as the control over your lives; for, I AM the Lord of your life. Watch and see what I AM doing in this hour. As I plow under the systems of wickedness that have made the ground hard and barren, and as I send My Rain to water the new soil; so too, am I releasing even now an Abundant Hope, Abundant Provision. Believe in Me! Believe, Believe! The mountains are falling before you! Believe! FAITH ME! Do not back off; but, PRESS INTO ME. It is GLORIOUS, BELOVED!”
“This is the SPRING of a NEW DAY, and great will be your fruitfulness. All is well, ALL IS WELL!”
