The Perfect Storm
The following post comes out of a powerful time of worship at ROC (Revival Outreach Center) yesterday morning, along with a series of strong thunderstorms that rolled through our area late in the day and through the night.
I am posting this as I received it and wrote it out first thing this morning. The spiritual reality is this: we have turned a corner. The paradigm has shifted and we can no longer look at life as we once did. The atmosphere has changed, and there is a Perfect Storm being released.
I’ll let you, the reader, decide.
I will say this, however: We have exciting days before us. I believe that before the end of this year, 2010, we will see significant changes in our land. Changes that will truly bring healing, deliverance, salvation. Change that will cause this nation to once again be a beacon of light to the world.
THE PERFECT STORM
“The clouds poured down water, the skies resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked. Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your foot prints were not seen. You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.” (Psalm 77:17-20)
Sunday, April 25, 2010 will be seen as a defining day. During worship at Revival Outreach Center the “rain” of God fell with tremendous power and there was an important alignment in and with Holy Spirit. There was a mighty release of a STORM. This storm is the next wave of the outpouring, the manifestation, of God’s Spirit and the advancement of the Kingdom of God with the revealing of the Sons of God.
Later in the day, and into the night, there were very strong storms, with heavy rain, rolling thunder, flashes of lightning. Sometimes, such events are merely what they appear to be; but, in this case, these storms were a physical manifestation of what is happening in the Spirit.
During the night, I awoke to another round of these storms. And, as I lay there listening to the driving rain and rolling thunder, I heard the Lord cleary say, “I have released My Storm upon this land. A Storm of Deliverance, a Storm of Salvation, a Storm of Healing.”
The Lord says, “This Storm I have released is not like other storms. This Storm is unlike any that has gone before; for, the Storm I have released is YOU. You, Beloved, are MY RAIN. Out of your innermost being is flowing My Living Water, the Rain of My Spirit. It is a deluge, a FLOOD of My Spirit coming forth from you in this hour.”
“As the rains water the earth and bring forth fruit, so shall you be in this land. I have called you to take dominion; but, you will not take dominion of desolate, barren land. No, Beloved, you shall turn the barren land into fruitful gardens. With every step you take, with the pouring out of My Spirit, you shall see fruit spring forth before you. There is a turning in the land. I AM turning this nation laid to waste by the evil scheming of wickedness. I love this land, and am pouring out MY REIGN for her deliverance and healing.”
“The thunder you hear and the lightning you see are MY VOICE. You, Beloved, are MY THUNDER and MY LIGHTNING. I AM releasing My Voice in and through you in this hour. You shall speak with the power of My Thunder and every obstacle, every mountain before you shall move at your voice. You shall speak with the authority of My Lightning. TRUTH, TRUTH, TRUTH shall flash forth from you; and, as the flash of lightning shatters the darkness, so shall you shatter all lies, deception, evil scheming of wickedness in the land. My Word is Truth, My Word is Life, and My Word shall accomplish all that I purpose.”
“It is YOU whom I AM using to bring this about. Do not look for Me to come from far off, or send My Glory from a distant place. I AM HERE, I AM with you. I AM the fullness of your life. You are the Storm I AM releasing. Rise up! Ride the Whirlwind of My Spirit. Pour forth the Rain, release the Thunder and Lightning of My Glory. This is your hour. I AM with you. We, together will not fail; but, see this nation turned, and this land healed.”
