The Nearness of Destiny
It is not surprising news to anyone that this last year has been one of great shaking. Many, many people have suddenly seen what they have trusted in for years crumble to dust.
Back in April of 2007, I felt a tremendous shift in the atmosphere. It seemed that everything was being turned 180 degrees..literally inside out. At that time, God said He was making all things new, that it was a new day. Well, that shift was literally a paradigm shift..all the old perceptions and belief systems were being realigned. And, what we are feeling today is the effects of that shift. Basically, it is simply that God has released the reality of His Kingdom here on earth in dramatic ways..an outpouring of great glory.
Which leads me to this post…I was thinking of the desires in my heart, and all the dreams and hopes I have that have yet to come to pass. Have I lost them? I am not alone. And, I was lead to the following verses out of Isaiah..as I read them, the following word came….so be encouraged this day..God is moving on your behalf.
Isaiah 40:10-11,29 says, “Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young…..He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” And, Isaiah 66:8-9 says, “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For a soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the Lord. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God……
The Lord says, “I know your heart. I know the desires deep within, for I placed them there. I know how you long for the fulfillment of your dreams. And, I know, too, how weak you feel as you face the daily trials that seem so large while you are so small. I know all these things, My children,” says the Lord. “I have heard the cry of your heart, and I AM moving; for, I did not place desires within you only for those desires to fade away in the darkness of death.” “No,” says the Lord, “I AM coming with great power..swiftly, suddenly, with great glory. And My reward is with Me.”
Papa says, “I AM holding you close, My children. I AM CLOSE. Can you feel that? Can you sense My Presence? Draw near, draw near. For strength increases according to the measure of our intimacy, our nearness. Do you understand that?”
“You cry out to Me to come…and yet, it is I who is crying out to you–COME, COME NEAR. Again and again, I cry out to you–SEEK ME and you WILL FIND ME.” “You do know My Presence; however, as yet it is still at arms length..close but not too close. But, that is changing. For I AM moving swiftly in these days–pulling you, wooing you ever deeper into My Presence. So close. so close…and the days are coming when you will not ask Me to ‘come”, for you will feel Me already, fully there. For the veil is taken away, the veil is taken away. So close that, with every breath you take-you feel My breath; with every step you take-you feel My steps with you. So close, that before you form the words to express your desires-you will see the desires manifest before your eyes. So close, that as you stretch out your hands for your inheritance-they are at once filled.”
“I know, My children, that these are days of trial, days of upheaval. I know these days can seem as though the way has become very narrow. But, know this well, My little ones…I have not brought you to this place without purpose; nor, will I fail to see you through.” “I brought you to this place that is narrow, so that you will be PRESSED INTO ME. I have brought you to this place THAT MY GLORY WILL BE MADE KNOWN THROUGH YOU…it is a PRESSING IN TO POUR OUT.”
“And, I will see it through..hear once again the promise of My Word—I do not bring you to the place of birthing, and then close the womb….I do not place desires into your heart only to cause the birthing of those desires to die because I have closed the womb.” “No,” says the Lord, “I AM working now in the narrow, birth canal, to cause a sudden birthing of great glory in and through you. And, it will be so sudden, so powerful, so glorious; that, the nations of the earth will tremble, and the kings of the earth will be humbled. It will come with such suddenness, power, and glory; that, every knee will bow before MY GLORY POURED OUT THROUGH YOU, and every tongue will confess MY NAME!”
“Trust Me, My children…I AM CLOSE”
