The Most Excellent Way
“Everything is permissible for me” –but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me”–but I will not be mastered by anything.” (1 Corinthians 6:12)
This year of 2010 is to be a year of real breakthrough. We have been going through a very challenging season. The last 2 years have seen much of what we placed trust in shaken, even destroyed in many ways.
There has been a great paradigm shift. In April, 2007, I felt the shift and heard the Lord say, “I AM turning all things inside out. I AM shifting your life from the external ways of thinking, believing, behaving based upon the kingdoms of men rooted in the flesh and system of religion; to the interior realm of My Spirit and the reality of My Kingdom. I AM making all things new, and you will never think, believe, behave the same again.”
What we have been experiencing, especially in 2009, is the result of that shift. It has been like an earthquake. The earth shifts along ‘fault lines’ and everything feels the shift. Moreover, after the actual shift, there are the aftershocks, the tremors, and the massive reordering of life. Literally, nothing is the same again.
Put another way: there is life after the shift. And, we have entered into this new life and are going through a lot of adjustments.
These are very good adjustments; for, we have entered into a year of ‘multiplication’, of ‘double portion’, of ‘fulfillment’ and ‘completion’. We are about to experience a Great Outpouring of God’s Glory, and a release of Inheritance in the Body of Christ in very powerful ways.
For, “the glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,” says the Lord Almighty. (Haggai 2:9)
With all that, I am drawn to the passage in 1 Corinthians. And, am hearing the Lord saying:
“I have brought you to this place where you now stand. You have been led through narrow places along very narrow paths. They have pressed you, confined you, squeezed you. And, for a time you have felt a great pressure.”
“This has been like a birth canal, and you have been pressed in as you have moved forward. Now, you have come to the place of BIRTHING,” says the Lord.
“I have brought you to this place where you now stand, and there are doors open before you. New doors of opportunity. Doors of great creative expression, of divine connections, of rapid expansion. For, I AM about to open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”
The Lord says, “What you have been holding in your hearts you will hold in your hands. Your desires are being brought forth, your dreams are becoming reality. But, you say, ‘I have heard these words before, I have looked for my desires, my hopes, my dreams to come to pass; but, they have not come. I have longed to hold the ‘children of my destiny’ in my arms; yet, till now the birth has been delayed. How long, O Lord, how long must I wait?'”
“Your wait is over,” says the Lord, “for I AM bringing you out of the narrow place and into the open land. And, the floodgates are open. The Day of Breakthrough is here.”
“Know this, My Children. In these coming days you will have wonderful, amazing opportunities presented to you. Great provision is coming rapidly to propel you forward in your destiny. But, you must be careful to seek only My Most Excellent Way. Be watchful and discerning. Watchful for the Best over and above the Good. Discerning the excellence of My Purpose and Plan for you.”
The Lord says, “Be vigilant. For the enemy will seek to mingle the lesser gold of this world with the purity of your rich, glorious inheritance. He IS being made to pay back 7-fold what he stole from you; but, will try to retake it from you by presenting opportunities that will once again bring you back to your old ways. To the old wine skins which do not satisfy.”
“These will seem good to you. They will even be admirable and good in many ways. But, they are not My Most Excellent Way. So, BE VIGILANT.”
“I AM calling you to one thing only,” says the Lord. “That is to seek first My Kingdom and My Righteousness. Seek first MY PRESENCE in all things and you will not fail in any endeavor, any opportunity, placed before you.”
“When your desires suddenly manifest before you–AND THEY WILL; be quick to take them and lay them at My Feet. Be quick to say, ‘Lord, how best can I use what I have for the expansion of Your Kingdom?’. HORDE NOTHING. Hold nothing back, freely give it all for KINGDOM EXPANSION, for the GLORY OF MY NAME.”
“Then,” says the Lord, “you will be like a well-watered garden. Then, you will be like a Tree of Life to the nations. Then, you will truly find the abundant life I purposed for you.”
“This world system of, “everything is permissible”, is being shaken to its core. The kingdoms of men are coming down. As they fall, you will step forward in My Kingdom Authority and Power. The transfer of wealth is coming; but, it is much more than merely money. It is the transfer of ALL THINGS pertaining to life out of the hands of those who control, abuse, kill, steal and destroy. And, it is being placed into YOUR HANDS; for, you are My Sons being revealed for the purpose of MY GLORIOUS LIBERTY, MY GLORIOUS LOVE, MY GLORIOUS LIFE.”
