Rise Up, My Love

During this time as I am not as active physically while going through these medical treatments, I’ve had much more time engaging the intimate places with God. And, finding ways to explore that intimacy through the Sound of Heaven.

There is a place where the call to intimacy is one of a joy-filled romance. The drawing closer to God because of His ecstatic love for us; or, to put it another way-BLISS.

The reality is that He truly desires us. Such romantic desire is seen in Song of Songs:  “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!” (Song of Songs 2:10-13)

So this track is one that seeks to capture such tender, romantic longings. Let it take you away, to be romanced by your Lover.
