Call of Destiny
I have been wrestling a lot lately. There’s a sense of ‘holy frustration’ as I think of all Donna and I are called to in these days-the launching of a ministry, the gifts/callings/anointing we passionately desire to see released. There are the hopes and dreams we have as husband and wife, so much we want to DO.
There’s an urgency, a sense of NOW IS THE TIME-NO DELAY; yet, there are hindrances, obstacles, delays that seem to block us at so many points.
There is a struggle, and I’m not alone. Many are crying out for a great BREAKTHROUGH. Many are crying out, “NOW, LORD!”
As I sit here this morning, I am lead back to Isaiah, and the following two passages:
“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.” (61:10-11)
And, “They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them. It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” (65:21-24a)
Beautiful, yes? It was out of these passages that the following word from the Lord came on July 25, 2009.
I revisit this word as it speaks directly to the ‘holy frustration’–read on, be encouraged.
“I know the plans you are making; the hopes and dreams of your heart,” says the Lord. “I know your deepest longings. The most extravagant of desires deep in you are held in My hand. And, I will not fail you, My children.”
Papa says, “Look again at My Creation. Let her speak to you in these days…let her speak My Word again to you–for Creation brings forth the bud, the garden causes what is sown to spring forth. This never fails. It is an unalterable law of My Spirit.”
The Lord says, “In these days of shaking and shifting, of pressing in and stretching forth–hold fast to MY Word of Love.”
“For, I AM swiftly bringing what is sown in the garden of your soul to bud, and to fruit. These are the days of BIRTHING..for I AM birthing your dreams, birthing your hopes and desires within you. And, you will see them unfold before you as a precious child emerges from the womb.”
“Yes,” says the Lord, “the days are near when, before you lift your voice to Me-My answer will be held in your hand. The days are near when the reaper will overtake the sower.” “HOLD FAST TO MY WORD OF LOVE–for I AM covering you with royal garments, and jewels of My Kingdom.”
I sense Papa saying, “These days of shaking and shifting are not for ALL DAYS; but, only for THIS DAY. To bring about My purposes in the land. I AM preparing you to be My Righteousness upon the land. I AM pressing you into Me, that you may be the PRAISE OF MY GLORY before all nations.”
“And this time of shaking and shifting is soon ending. For I AM about to reveal MY SONS and MY DAUGHTERS–revealing them in MY GLORY that all Creation may shout for joy. And in this day-this day of MY SUDDENLIES–you will hold before you great harvest.”
“Hold fast..for you are not laboring in vain. The children of your destiny are being birthed..these are the children of desire, the children of dreams, the children of creative idea, of sanctified imagination…these are the very FRUIT OF YOUR WOMB…and they are being birthed even now, even now…”
“Therefore,” says the Lord, “HOLD FAST to MY WORD OF LOVE..Do not quench the fire of your desires, or abandon your dreams..hold fast–for you WILL LONG ENJOY the work of your hands.”
